Из личных наблюдений. Носители фамилии Кац/Катц/Katz в своей массе относятся ко вполне конкретному субкладу J1-Y5400. Одной из его ветвей является J1-Y81787, к которой относятся любавичские раввины

FTDNA Discovery дает следующую оценку возраста J-ZS222 (Y3088) - cм. ниже. Я уже ничего не понимаю, это очень сильно отличается от оценки YFull.

Haplogroup J-ZS222 represents a man who is estimated to have been born around 1,900 years ago, plus or minus 350 years.

That corresponds to about 100 CE with a 95% probability he was born between 250 BCE and 450 CE.

He is the most recent paternal line ancestor of all members of this group.

J-ZS222's paternal lineage branched off from J-ZS227 and the rest of mankind about 3,100 years ago, plus or minus 550 years.

There are 397 DNA test-confirmed descendants, and they have specified that their direct paternal origins are from Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, and 37 other countries.

As more people test, the history of this genetic lineage might be further refined.

С ДНК-исследованиями древних захоронений в Израиле дела обстоят плохо. Галаха запрещает вскрытие могил евреев, если нет опасности осквернения могил. Нееврейские захоронения (филистимлян, например) еще анализируют, а вот еврейские трогать проблематично.

Не обязательно евреев, можно сравнить и фараонов.

Если качество дднк позволит, то  вот здесь дата смерти известна 06.02.1190 года  и имеются три разные генетические  линии для сравнительного анализа и точного датирования средневековых еврейских образцов.

Раввином может стать любой человек, даже гер, а вот коаним может быть только потомок Харуна (Арона), да и то невсегда, ведь были случаи когда в коаним назначали по статусу среди людей, а не только по родословной, да и к примеру среди хазаров были тоже коанимы, что говорит о том что это не всегда наследники брата Моисея.

У инфицированного малярией образца STR140 Нового времени из Мехелена, Бельгия, определили гаплогруппу J1a2a1a2d2b2b2c2a~

Что интересно, согласно нынешней номенклатуре ISOGG, это соответствует... коэнскому субкладу Y3088.

По аутосомам, насколько я понял, он выглядит испанцем.

Т.ж. подозревается, что данное кладбище при соборе Святого Румбольда использовалось в т.ч. и военным госпиталем:

STR140 (3535-2)- Interred in a single-phase multiple burial which included one non-adult and four adults (based on the initial assessment), this adult male individual exhibits evidence of a P. malariae infection.

From the same phase [c. 1400-1600 AD], STR025’s and STR140’s probabilities are shifted to France, but mostly to S. Spain and Sardinia.

In the same way, STR016, STR067 and STR140 are cladal to modern and Medieval Spain (‘Spanish.HO’ and/or ‘Spanish_North.HO’, ‘Spain_Medieval’ and/or ‘Spain_Carolingian’), and STR091 to Aegean Byzantine.

Similarly, STR140 that can be modeled as deriving 100% from ‘Spain_Medieval’ or cladal to ‘Spanish.HO’ (mostly sampled from southern Spain), requires a second source from Guanches in Canary Islands when applying Medieval ‘Spain_Carolingian’ as first source. This can be explained by low amount of N. African-related ancestry in the group of ‘Spain_Medieval’ which could date back to the Late Antique period134. Therefore, our data do not support that STR140 carries additional N. African ancestry.
