У славянобалтогерманцев r1 и тюрков r1a было одно и тоже Енисейское небо над головой.
Proto-Yenisseian: *tɨŋgVr-Meaning: high
Ket: tɨŋǝĺ
Yug: tɨŋgɨl
Pumpokol: tokar-du
Comments: ССЕ 287. Werner 2, 309 <*thɨŋ(g)ǝl>; for a reason unclear to me maintains that the Pumpokol form is not comparable.

Proto-IE: *dAngh-Meaning: sky, heavenly body ->Slavic: *dǭgā́ `Regenbogen', *rājī-dǭgā/Baltic: *dañg-u- c./Germanic: *tung-l-a- n., *tungl-ō(n-) f., *tungl-an- m.
Proto-Turkic: *teŋri / *taŋrɨ Meaning: 1 god 2 sky, heaven
Comments: An interesting common Altaic religious / juridical term. The proposed etymology presumes that the meaning 'sky' in Turkic is secondary ( < 'God'); if it is not the case, one could accept S. Georg's thesis about a loan in Turkic < Yenisseian *tɨŋgVr- 'high' (see Georg 2001) - although we must admit that other loans from Yenisseian are unknown to us.
