country of paternal origin: Russian Federation (Chuvashia)
paternal haplogroup: incoclusive (I-CTS10936 or below it)
important Y-DNA results: Y-DNA111, I2-P37 SNP Pack
Hello Yuri, I've just sent a following request to the FTDNA Helpdesk:
My name is Zdenko Marković, one of volunteer administrators of the I2a Y-haplogroup project. Mr.Turinge (640451) received his I2a-P37 SNP Pack result. He has I-CTS10963 haplogroup reported, but his more downstream CTS10228, A2512 and A7134 results are missing (no calls). He ordered his I2a - P37 SNP pack test because of these thre unreported SNPs. Can you test him again or test just these three SNPs CTS10228, A2512 and A7134?
Regards
Hello Mr. Turinge,
your I2-P37 SNP Pack result is displayed in your FTDNA page. Your SNP results are displayed at the bottom of the Haplotree & SNPs section.
The SNP results which define your haplogroup are:
P37+, CTS410+
M423+, CTS5375+
L621 (no call)
CTS10936+
CTS10228 (no call)
A2512 (no call), A7134 (no call)
S17250-
Y4460-
Z17855-
There are a few important SNP results which failed and they are marked with "no call". Those incoclusive SNP results are important to your haplogroup. L621 is not important because you have CTS10936+ result, so you have L621+ result.
But CTS10228 and especially A2512 and A7134 are important results for you. I will ask FTDNA helpdesk to test these SNPs again. You can also do that.
